another amen to that. Feel like I want to run but know that my foot is not ready yet. Spot on about getting out in the cold, I normally don't like anything cold or wet ... but being injured is making me ignore it.

Another few days should do it.

Oh dear, what have I done!

Signed up and have a pre-registration confirmation for my second marathon even though it's still 6 months until my first

Berlin 2013 here I come

Well, I thought that as I didn't get into London, I had to at least try and get one of the 5 majors in

I sent the Garmin Forerunner 10 back - and have ordered the Forerunner 110 instead.

I really want to see that overall average pace on the go as it keeps me ticking along nicely ...... the current pace can vary so much with a quick glance so to look and see average pace would be a much better guide for me.

Starting my path towards London 2013 soon (a couple of months earlier than last year) with the first steps, literally, being a 13 mile run on Friday.

Hope the new watch arrives by then for a test run!!

This is a refurbished 405, i use the updated 410 which is essentially the same but with the refined touch bezel and 'hot fix' gps location. If its anywhere near as good as the 410 i can whole heartedly recomended it. I got mine off amazon in july for 144 with the premium hrm strap and i've seen it go as low as 132.

Check out DC Rainmakers site for reviews on the 405 (or any other running/cycling/swiming gadget). Very good reviews and how to's.

asics i had were all wrong, now in a pair of brooks, or will be this weekend when i try running again. knee getting better i think

this one felt like a proper analysis, she asked me when i hurt my ankle(tore ligaments 8 years playing football) and told me i was left footed. very impressed and trust I'm wearing the right shoes now

My first marathon finished yesterday in Dublin \o/ 7 months ago I'd started training, prior to that I hadn't been running at all, so was an aggressive training plan and wondered towards the end of it would I really be able to do it but got through it and finished in 4 hrs and 46mins, which I'm chuffed with.
