So, I've got an Aeropress that I love but I'd also like a pod or an espresso machine to complement it (or possibly one of each!), can anyone recommend one please?

Been Googling for ages and Nespresso seems to be the best pod option, but no idea which specific machine, and totally lost off when it comes to the espresso side of things, any help and advice much appreciated.

If you like Aeropress, in my opinion a pod machine would be a step backwards. I have this machine, which is pretty cheap and makes a good coffee. De'Longhi Dedica Coffee Machine EC680.M (ignore the price they can be had for much cheaper)
I think @Dave M just bought one too.
What coffee are you drinking with your aeropress?

Pod machines are for shandy drinkers

If you want to try a coffee where the tasting notes bear resemblance to reality, you need to give this a try:

I have an aeropress (tempted to leave the autocorrect suggestion of aeroplane!) for holidays and a jura x5 for home. That's what works for me, any more effort would be too much faff.

Got an Aeropress a couple of months ago and agree with the people who have said they drink less coffee when it's good coffee. I'm probably averaging two cups a day. That would have been five or six before.

Conscious I can further improve things but I don't have the space or budget for a proper machine

I've been drinking stuff from the supermarket. Would I be better off grinding my own beans? If so, I'll need a (budget) grinder and some beans... Any recommendations?

Also, how will I know how many beans to grind for one cup from the Aeropress? Trial and error?

Personally I wouldn't bother with grinding your own beans. There are plenty of coffee subscriptions for about £7 a month that will send you a new freshly roasted and ground bag from around the world. I had one for a year and it was superb.
