I paid 7.5K for 16 German Antaris Panels with Aurora Inverter with 30 year performance/20 year product/10 year company guarantees. Its AS M 250 Black.

Do some utility companies give you a bonus for solar? So, on current rates your tariff is projected to go onto 50p in the next couple of years possibly if the economy improves a bit?

Seems expensive mate but if they are extra efficient then maybe worth it. What is the model number of the panels?

I have a 4.6kw system here in NZ running for 3 months now and just hit 900kwh from May to July, these are our Winter months though, so hopefully September (the start of spring) will start ramping up a bit. Hoping to get about 5500kwh per year.

We are restricted to 4kwh systems here if we want to get the feed in tariff (government incentive). Do the NZ government give any incentives? How much did your system cost and how much is electric per kwh?

Remember the new rate is only from April 1st not the whole of 2014. And, don't forget to add 50% of what you generate multiplied by £0.0339 to your total too (I can't remember if everyone, on our FIT, gets this even if you have an export meter, or you only get the 50% deemed exported if you don't have an export meter, like I don't).

I have an East/West system, 2K on each roof.
431 in May.
446 in June.
509 in July.

Not bad for Scotland.

Yes I get the 50% at 3.3p but that doesn't equate to much in comparison.

Agreed, but every little counts. Basically, we are smidge under 50p for each kw/h. So glad I got it in Feb. 2012.

No they don't. Total system cost (and I'll convert into sterling) was 6500 for 18 260w panels and 4.0kw inverter. Electricity costs us 14p per kwh and buy back is 10p per kwh for any exported. You guys are living the dream with your buy back rates in the UK!
