I'm actually shocked they would be almost proud to admit this.

Labour 'war-gaming for run on pound' if elected - Labour 'war-gaming for run on pound'

Here's a shocking suggestion. How about not being so economically inept that you think there may be a run on the pound and capital flight? How about having a credible set of commitments that don't rely on huge tax rises and borrowing?

Just a thought.

Not possible.

Labour   Tax and spend (borrow) go hand in hand.

You can’t have one without the other.

Whereas Corbyn worries me, McDonnell positively scares me.

The problem is, there are many people who are not really interested in politics or economics. They just hear the promises and think- that sounds great!

It worked at the last election. The young and their parents were swayed with the promise of free tuition and a debt write off.  No one asked how it can be done. Its too good to miss. I might even vote labour myself! (Is that hell freezing over )

And even more dangerous are the people who are interested in politics, and want to see mass nationalisation for ideological reasons, and don't care about the economic consequences.

That ties in with a link I put up the other day.

Those that don't know much about politics are more likely to vote Labour.

Those who are more engaged with politics are more likely to vote Tory.

I suppose that should give us hope that education works. [emoji14]

I think it's less education and more to do with wisdom. All the young grads and students think the sun shines out of Corbyn's a***, whereas older people who have life experience and understand money vote Tory.

Mayor Khan shows yet more contempt for democracy:

Sadiq Khan just suggested Labour may back a second referendum on Brexit
