The Guardian is the opposing view to the Mail, both have their place as political voices, one supports social citizenship and the other supports active citizenship, using words like bigot, racist etc just cloud the issues.
Politics is naturally pluralistic so no one view or opinion is correct. Although personally this new emperors clothing of 'Identity and victim' culture of the left is taking the natural paternal leanings of socialist thought and debasing the arguments somewhat.
Paper-chase are a private business, being so means they can advertise and should be free to market their products with whom ever they want, they certainly shouldn't be subjected to coercion for using a mainstream paper. This is not Russia, where the walls have ears, opposing views are not sanctioned or people sent to death camps for non compliant thinking, it's relatively free and democratic country. |
