LOL

Absolute madness.  Especially the idiot who called for negative interest rates.

We've already had real negative rates for years.

BOE motto is "if it's broke, we'll continue doing what we're doing"

Fed seemed to rule out any chance of negative interest rates yesterday.

Low rates have been a certified disaster.   Meanwhile the bubbles get bigger and bigger.

No bubble with the FTSE thankfully since it's subject to so much negativity.

Must be frustrating being the only person with the right ideas - especially with all this empty housing

I'm by far the only one.  Just sick of so many numpties in charge continuing with present policy when it clearly is not working right.

Think i'd make a good Chancellor.  Dream job in the next life

Have you considered that is what they said about their predecessors?

It's just a bit hard to understand what you would do when every decision made - some in opposite directions - is 'wrong'.  Why are they do bad at it?

Interesting - the FTSE is on a downward spiral. It goes down x%, then rises a little less the following day. But the overall trend is down. I've seen this many times. I suspect that the downward trend is overreaction, due to 'poor' Chinese growth. China's growth is less than in the past, but it's still growing at a decent rate. The market overreaction (and that's what I think it is) might continue for some weeks though.
