I assume people are talking about the FTSE 100.
The FTSE 250 is a better indicator and the FTSE AIM has been level today.

AIM is not so affected by global markets

So the market gets what it wanted.  A delay to the US increasing rates, yet continues to spit the dummy out.

No wonder people pour trillions into housing when the stock markets are manipulated so much.
