Not his summary though just look at Wikipedia.

I think the actions are good, just like for Korea. Some decisive actions is required instead of this weakness that the international community is well known for but doesn’t provide any clarity when required.

Do you not think that by moving the Embassy, the US has done the opposite and created even more tensions than which already existed?

I’ve just watched a news report from Jerusalem showing Nationalist Israeli’s marching through the streets of Jerusalem, clearly taunting Palestinians as they went in a ‘traditonal’ march.  The reporter then interviewed an Israeli in the street and he refused to even call them Palestinians, instead only refering to them as ‘Arabs’.  The reporter pulled him up on this and, after being asked several times, the guy stated that they are Arabs because “there is no such thing as Palestinian people”.  With attitudes like that (I’m sure there would be an equal response from similar-minded Palestinians before anyone here takes offence) how is this ever going to be anything but a divided country(ies)?

I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous, proven by the fact those countries which still have some intelligence are encouraging Trump to reconsider.

What Trump has done is no more than someone throwing petrol onto a bonfire.  The only person that benefits from it is the one selling the petrol.

There is no reason for there to be even one Palestinian refugee. No reason at all.

Indeed, the original plan had Jerusalem bang in the middle of Palestinian territory. Now, with the illegal occupation of West Bank and the preceding encroachment towards Jerusalem, the Israeli's control far more of the area than was ever 'agreed'.

How’s that then? A two-state nation?

They didn't follow it through ..... because Israel and the Arab states went to war meaning it has been put on hold........ since 1948 with the US consistently vetoing any actions to enforce it.

Just checked and not only is the US embassy in Jerusalem ... it's in East Jerusalem on land seized control of in 1967 that was still Palestinian from 1948.

So the US opened an embassy on internationally designated as a UN controlled enclave that was illegally occupied since 1948, they opened it on the anniversary of that occupation .... and it's on the Arab side of the 1948 border that Palestine claimed as their own Capital of East Jerusalem.

Talk about a triple whammy.

Cost savings and efficiency one embassy can serve both Israel and Palestine

Seriously though, no matter what America or Israel does they will never be happy. The Palestinians want what simply won’t happen. They have a choice, to me they don’t seem be choosing wisely.
