I could understand if it was specific incidents, like Bloody Sunday, but to investigate all deaths? Makes no sense to me.

I wonder if Blair knew this would happen and didn't care, he wanted his legacy.. I find it pretty ridiculous, but hey this is the UK the capital of ridiculous, seemingly peodophiles in elite circles and politicians ignoring the will of the people..

John Major had a lot to do with getting peace in Northern Ireland. Blair is Blair does, preens and purrs.

As tough as that was, Peace is far more important. If we'd refused to have done that ? The troubles would have likely dragged on. There are a lot of dirty secrets in regards to Northern Ireland, we simply do not know the truth. So we can't really say which soldiers need to be investigated and which ones followed the rules of engagement of the time.
