It will need China to sign anything off and I would expect less presence of American troops in South Korea for denuclearisation.  And if peace can be brokered between North and South again China will be needed to sign peace off (fact), and full withdrawal of American Military presence will be the asking price for the signature.

Communist China fought alongside North Korea in the conflict and signed the armistice in 1953, so its signature will be required for a peace treaty to proceed, that’s fact. Trump will call it fake news but there we are, only fools would believe China are just watching and just waiting to sign off everything without a price. China wants America out of Asia, South Korea is where it starts.

America withdraws. Peace breaks down. China sends troops to the Peninsula to guarantee everyone's safety and the Doomsday Clock ticks ever closer to midnight.

Treaty to Formally End Korean War Is Being Discussed, South Confirms

Treaty Would Have to Involve U.S. and China
The Korean War was halted in 1953 with a truce and has never been formally brought to a close. China fought on the North’s side and the United States on the South’s, and both are signatories to the armistice, along with the North; South Korea, at the time, refused to sign it. Any peace treaty would therefore have to involve Washington and Beijing, South Korean officials acknowledged on Wednesday.

Let's take a look at the president's first 12 days in the White House according to his public schedule to see what he did to deserve a Nobel Peace Prize: January 20: Went to a parade. Partied..."

I remember being as bemused by him being nominated, let alone winning, as I was amused how angry it made his detractors.
