Needs to go down the deterrence route. We'll vapourise you if you launch one missile at as, worked with Russia and the US in the cold war. There needs to be talks and deescalation but the US and NK only seem to want to ramp up the crap, their both to stupid to calm the situation down. Otherwise we're heading towards a nuclear war.
Maybe time to start a credit card spending spree!

Appeasement only encourages the Kim's it seems. There is no Plan B.
This will either end in Kim Jong Un easing tensions to win something (as his father liked to do), China removes Kim Jong Un (he's yet to visit China and assassinated his older brother) or Kim Jong Un has a death wish. Take your pick really.

Appeasement not all the time, pretty mixed, weren’t NK part of Bushes axis of Evil.  Iraq and Libya, look what happened to those regimes, we either make it up about weapons to get rid of or talk them out of having very big weapons and dispose of them anyway. Pretty much Western creation is North Korea nuclear program. One thing this regime knows and that’s how to survive and survive it will, having Nuclear weapons brings you international prestige, well that is often suggested with our Trident, so perhaps they want some prestige.
