And by adding a funny you've proven my belief that doing so means you don't have an actual point.

Or probably more accurately decided it is just not worth arguing.

So you support the use of funnys instead of actual debate?

My figures are correct. I've provided evidence and reasonable commentary to support them. And you think a suitable response is to funny the post?

I thought the mods were stopping this childish use of ratings?

I imagine it’s hard to read a smiley if you’ve never smiled before.

I gave various detailed reasons (with links) why I think GERS is flawed, you totally ignored it and ploughed on with your sole stat in regards to GERS then asked for evidence, so there's nothing else left to debate

Who'd thought a little old smiley would cause so much pain

I totally ignored them? So you mentioned the origin of GERS and also a problem with how oil revenue was recognised.

I said....

So even with those changes to GERS, Scotland is still running a budget deficit of around 8%. Also worth noting GERS is produced by the Scottish government. Remind me which Tories run that?

Acknowledging the changes to oil revenue, and acknowledging the origin of the GERS figures.

And pointing out that even with those changes, you've got a massive deficit. And that the SNP run Scottish government now produces the GERS figures.

But yes, apart from acknowledging and addressing your points I completely ignored them.

Incidentally, any luck in proving the figures are wrong?

No pain, just derision at the level of your debate.

The Lib Dems should be filling that empty gap in centre politics: Tories have shifted right and Labour shifted left leaving this void at the centre.

However they remain quiet except for some generic speeches. I would have thought Brexit would be a good platform for them to launch a comeback, but nothing - no campaign - no stirring up the faithful - just a little background noise.

Maybe the Lib Dems are waiting for the right moment to leap into action and show they are still an active political party and not a confused group fraught with worry on what to do next.

So, for me, the Leb Dems are not on the agenda.

They're almost more off the agenda than UKIP at the moment

Too far left and with an ageing and totally out of touch leader.

Maybe some LD/Labour should break away and form a new party left of centre.
