Quite telling how far British politics has shifted rightwards from the 70's if a potential socialist prime minister whose happy to keep Trident, the Queen as head of state & retain the HOL is seen as a marxist commie trot traitor

Well, Jeremy's nationalisation plans for energy (gas, electric & water companies) and railways is enough for some to call him a marxist commie trot traitor.

We are now in surplus on day to day spending.

That's not magic. That's just been prudent management of the economy, and now we can do things like increase public spending in Northern Ireland.

Or are you against increased spending on public services?

I thought public services were privately owned.

I think you missed the xenophobia part
I hear you but while accusations of anti-semitism have more recently reared it's ugly head, racism in the Conservative party goes back years.  The point is that the recent media focus on Corbyn and Labour is to distract from the other issues which are equally serious.  There's an unequal focus on anti-semitism and the Labour party/Corbyn in the media to distract from those and influence the voting public in much the same way that the media focused on Clinton's email server while Trump perpetrating the much more serious crime of colluding with Putin.

Focus from who?

Is Margaret Hodge a Tory plant for the last 40 years?

Even Corbyn accepts they haven't done enough.

It was well over two years ago he promised to throw his weight behind implementing the results of the now-obviously-glaringly-whitewashed Chakraborty report into anti-Semitism.

We all know he's a lightweight but the lack of leadership is incredible.
