Rushing into conflict without clear objectives and end goals is something we won't accept, no matter where you stand on the political spectrum or the Syrian Civil War. Trump's sudden interest in Syria, you could argue is him trying to distract from Mueller's investigation.

If you want to take out Syria's chemical weapons, then you have to take out the regime itself. I'd expect Assad will have moved chemical weapons into populated areas.

I think the strike will be little more than symbolic. Trump-Macron-May must know this could easily escalate. Beyond 'sending a message' there is no clear, achievable objective.

Cabinet agrees 'need for action' in Syria

Take action to alleviate humanitarian distress ?
The hypocrisy of our government after funding and supplying these rebels, who were on the verge of defeat, from the very start.
Why no mention of Yemen, getting burnt to the ground with thousands dead and tens thousands more in dire need ?

i do believe there has been real chemical weapons attacks in syria but from what i understand, there has been fake ones staged as well.

if the most recent attack was faked in order to force the hand of the usa/uk and the rest of the world in order to attack assad,  i am willing to bet we will see more reports of chemical attacks in the future.

From what I understand none have been faked.

I can't reveal my sources unfortunately.

I could possibly agree, but then again with these decisions the media will not have access to ALL of the information anyway...
