Yes, the clips were showing some people were trying to help - looked a bit primitive, but helping nevertheless.
What were you expecting to see? The nasty bad men releasing the gas and laughing as they did it?
So, like all media coverage of war, what you see on our media outlets are what you are allowed to see. All the nasty bits are cut out.
I was in the Lebanon briefly during the war there. The local TV coverage missed nothing out, the result of a car bomb showed the blood flowing down the drain, body parts, intestines hanging out, the screams for help etc. Nothing was cut out of the media coverage.
