I suspect that Nabby was infering the often lack of tempering ones bravado, patriotism, but especially feelings and expressions of nationalistic superiority with a rational, realistic and balanced view of our own history before condemning others.
Nothing wrong with critiquing another nations policies, actions, culture or beliefs, as long as it is done from a position of acceptance of ones own nations flaws.
That is something some people can't or don't want to accept and appear unable to let it slide. |
