Of course he didn't.  But 350 other people in the room had the common-sense not to grab the young lady by the neck and force her out the building.  I don't think deep subject matter expertise is required here - just sound judgement.  Even Field now admits he over-reacted and has apologised.

I will believe this when I see the photos of the bruises along with the audio recording of other things you claim were said with no evidence at all other than a blind belief everything she says is true.

If you're going to do what she did... expect consequences.

What would the reaction be if another woman had done this to the protester? Or if the protester was a man?

The 'woman' may have been a man dressing as a woman, in which case a concealed weapon would play an integral part in the whole situation.

No, because many of them were forcibly ejecting the other 39 defenceless "young ladies".  

Your chivalry defence is as admirable as it is silly.  You must be a bit desperate to describe a 38 year old as a young lady.

What gets me about these situations is the people who find it so inherently wrong were not there and have watched the video of the incident several times.

Nobody can ever say with 100% certainty how they would react within the immediacy of the situation.

Probably because of the confused environment we now live in.

You know, I am not for violent vigilante action like that guy who shot those kids on the Tube in New York all those years ago but this is nowhere even approaching that. People are scared to  do the right thing these days or feel the need to grovel afterwards due to bizarre reaction from a victim culture.

I don't think things are that confused.  Most people can tell the difference between a violent shooter and a young person handing out a few leaflets.  350 other people got it right in that room!

And what does that picture prove? I've seen men with bigger breasts than that.

Hell... I once chatted up a ladyboy in Ibiza because 'he' looked just like a woman to me. It wasn't until I noticed the 'maglight' secreted in the tight trousers that I twigged.

And anyway, if you zoom into that picture you can clearly see a bleached moustache, sideburns and a light goatee.
