Equality of opportunity is about treating everyone fairly, not the same.  At the risk of pointing out the obvious, women have a different physique including generally having smaller, lighter heads and necks.

So?

He used reasonable force to eject a trespasser, who was heading for one of our leading politicians and a leading public servant. The police apparently agree it was reasonable.

He certainly didn't throw her against a pillar as you laughably claimed.

I've asked a number of times but true to form you won't answer. Why was my age or sex relevant in your earlier comment?

Its interesting that Government guidance - for example on use of restraining techniques in prisons - specifically outlaw necks restraints due to the high risk of injury to the subject.

But she WAS removed safely. She wasn't hurt or injured.

How pathetic.

He didn't use a restraint. At short notice he stopped a protestor trying to get by him to get at colleagues, then used reasonable force to eject her.

Well, she has described herself as "bruised and still shaken" by the incident.  But that is not the point is it?  It is about application of force and balance of risk.

And as the police seem to agree, the force used was reasonable.

From the "victim".

Asked if she felt Mr Field's actions amounted to criminal assault, Ms Barker said: "No, I don't think so. I don't want this to turn into a mud-slinging match."

Poor thing. Must be a head injury after being thrown against that pillar.
