We spent Christmas day at milford sound and it's one of the best things we've done in NZ. The cruise was awesome but that drive in and out is incredible scenery that constantly changes. I'd tjoroughth recommend the drive alone for anyone visiting these shores.

Oxbow bend on the Snake River in the Grand Tetons National Park. This place was so beautiful when we visited in late September. To our left in the far distance we spotted a Grizzly and Golden eagle in front in the morning we saw Osprey and Otters and in the evening Elk came down to the far river bank. What the shot doesn't show is probably close on another 100 photographers all getting the same/similiar shot you see here.

Great pics.
We passed through there from Yellowstone while trying to get away from the weather. Could only stop a couple of hours by the lake. Beautiful area.
