Random holiday pics for inspiration and information

In the same vein as the ‘Post pictures of your recent purchases’ I thought it would be nice to create a similar thread for random pictures of recent holidays or travels.

I’ll start with my walk this morning along the 8.6km beach in Porto Santo, Madeira at approximately 28-30’c. Easily one of my favourite beaches I’ve ever been too, including those in the Indian Ocean

(No blocks of Lurpak are needed for comparison though as in the other thread)

Patio with "private pool" and views to the med from hotel room in Crete.

Normally just book the basic room type as the room is used for little more than the bed, shower and wardrobe but with your own pool, fantastic views and a near by supermarket selling beer/prosecco and large empty fridge in the room to keep it cold we actually spent most of our R&R time in the room/its patio.

Its the Blue Palace Resort & Spa, Elounda, Crete

The restaurants weren't great (for their price) but there are a couple of great little sea front places a few minutes walk along the coast.
