If you do buy one, try and get a couple of services thrown in or you’ll want to get it serviced outside or the Audi network as their prices are extortionate. Reports on Audi-sport that people are being quoted £400  for a minor service

£400 may seem a lot for a minor and it is but with 2 year service intervals its not so bad when you consider Nissan now charge £199 for a minor and have yearly intervals.

Bmw charged me £300 for the first service on my old 5, I said I only paid something like £180 on my old 3 and they told me its a new car, they cost more.

Any decent dealer will offer a service plan you pay for monthly.

Both nice cars but as you say, very different.  Why are these both under consideration? Do you need something as big as a Superb?

not really i suppose. we will have a small car (golf) so was thinking of getting something a bit bigger.

under consideration probably partly due to getting fed up looking, so just hoping for anything at this stage lol

Ive just been told by the missus that the superb is a non starter, so not really sure where to go from here, unfortunately looks like ill just have to keep looking.

Leon is same size as Golf. Skoda Octavia is a good bit bigger for similar money

Aye the leon was the missus suggestion, not really fussed on them myself to be honest.

The missus has said she doesn't like Skoda's, so its a no-go!!!

Moving my attention to this car now   Although, I play golf and coach a underage sports team (training equipment etc) so might need a bigger boot, dont really want an estate though

V40 is a good, stylish car. However it’s smaller than a Golf.
