Advice on Ford dealership questionable repairs?

As screw up as it is, its actually really good news from a legal point of view.

Fraud is now clearly established.

I have sent the pictures of to Ford of Britain (who i will imagine will forward to the dealership) and it will be interesting to hear their response.

An email has also gone off to the people who did the report saying what the heck!!! Also saying unless they do a fresh report correctly this time and in detail for free, then i will start a fresh case against them as they sure as hell should have pick it up (it was in the instructions to check).

As its a business van all the previous invoices of work done have been kept so i will dig them out to see if work done in the past has include brake pipes.

Now i see if there are grounds to get the people who are in charge of MOT tests involved so as they carry out an investigation on the MOT's done (I think there might be) and arrange a 2nd inspection. The more investigations/reports i have the stronger my case.

I don't see what the problem is. He paid a substantial amount of money to get the work done, which wasn't actually done. He then got a report by an independent who again didn't fully complete the service he paid for. I learnt some basic mechanic skills from my dad and I am 95% sure those brake lines have not been changed.

Yep - they were meant to be fitting fake licence plates to another van.....

Just realised you paid £3.5k for the work done. Main dealer has had your pants down.

THIS should really worry the dealer as any impropriety here will lose them the ability to carry out MOTs. And passing a vehicle with red defects which they themselves pointed out is as much a reason as any.

Quick update
Ford of Britain has informed me that as I have started legal action against the dealership they will no longer be involved and are closing the case. I expected as much, so that was no surprise.

Form filled in and emailed to  Complain about an MOT - GOV.UK
which was surprisingly easy. I had ordered replacement front tires but will need to see the garage now and get them to put that on hold.

Waiting to hear back from the people who carried out the inspection, they have been informed of the legal action against the dealership and how their report is a key part of it...
