Newest version of classic?

I didn't think this latest production of "Little Women" was particularly strong in any area. From casting to music score, to script. From a technical aspect I also thought the audio was muffled and I missed some dialogue because of it.

If "PBS" were trying to differentiate from the other versions, particularly the 1994 Academy Award nominated film, I think this was accomplished. Unfortunately while worthwhile this production did not live up to the potential of its cast or material.
