Campy soap opera about the lives and loves of four women living in a seemingly perfect looking neighborhood. There's the single mother (Teri Hatcher) in lust with the hunky man across the street--who has some secret of his own. There's the Latina woman who's sleeping with her hunky high school gardener(Jesse Metcalf). There's the married mother with two seriously disturbed kids. And there's the perfect mother (Marcia Cross) who is SO perfect and neat and organized that her hubby is filing for divorce. OH yes! The series is narrated by a woman who committed suicide in the first episode!
This is basically like "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" or "Melrose Place". It gives us truly outrageous characters and situations and plays them straight--with a little comic twist. All the acting is good, the scripts are fantastic and there's plenty of shots of hunky Metcalf with his clothes off or the other women with next to nothing on! Cheesecake and beefcake both!
Funny, outrageous and extremely well-done. I recommend this!
