If England win both games they are through.

Looks like they will have to, surely Pakistan will now finish on 11 points.

Aye through with 2 wins (double checked the table lol).

Only 2 wins will do though.  Suspect things will be clearer come Sunday night..

Sri Lanka/South Africa: well, that was embarrassing.

The Sri Lankans never built any partnerships and got out to stupid shots, on a slow pitch you have to wait for the bad ball and put it away.

And it's always a pleasure to watch Amla bat - he never chases after the ball, he's always happy to wait for it to come to him.

I can't see SL making the last four, so it's down to three teams now. Big game tomorrow!

There you go. Thought we would do India. Problem is England must beat NZ now to qualify which is a mind-boggling equation seeing as we're yards better than Pakistan. They beat us... yeah only 'cause Jos holed out.

Congratulations to England, you live to fight another day! A well deserved win both with the bat and ball. India could and should have made a better fight of it, but the baffling batting of Dhoni and Jhadav continues! India need to do something about their lower order. IMO drop the pair of them for Kartik and Jadeja.

Oh, what a disappointment!

A big part of me would love to see Pakistan in the final four as they are just so exciting to watch and so unpredictable too! That's twice the Afghans have got into winning positions and failed to see out the game, that's an area of their game they need to focus on as they're not too far away from the likes of West Indies and Sri Lanka.

As for New Zealand, brilliant hat-trick from Boult but they're a bit dull and I'd be happy to see Pakistan pip them to that last spot. Mind you, they'll probably beat England now!

It's actually shaped up to be a decent tournament in the end, with everyone losing at least one game.

Did India not try so hard to make it harder for Pakistan to qualify for the final 4 maybe?

Sri Lanka/West Indies: can we just move along quickly please?

Okay, so it was a great ton by Fernando, but the Windies bowling and fielding was shocking - they made SL look like world beaters when SA previously made them look like amateurs.

And, yet again, the batting was a mixture of wonderful talent (Pooran looks like a future mainstay) and disorganised chaos (two run outs of potential match winners in Brathwaite and Allen).

One win from eight games is simply appalling, but also completely deserved.

Yet again Windies got so close. Where's Allen been all this time? And Fernando for that matter.

Two huge England games now, vs USA tonight and vs New Zealand tomorrow.
