Just watched Connor McGreagor's fight on Facebook. Talk about accurate striking!

looks quality for sure & what a way to introduce yourself to the UFC. I look forward to him taking out a few more of featherweights, this win has probably put him in the UFC top 20 but no need to rush to the top with lots of good fights out there for him

Couldn't watch live, but I've been trawling Youtube for various uploads before they get pulled!

Absolutely delighted for Conor McGregor.  I saw him KO a few guys at my local show a few years back, (his 4th and 6th pro fights).

He won KO of the night too, $60k.  Said at the post fight conference that he's off to sign off the dole when he gets home.  Last week he was getting €180 a week on the dole, now he's got his base pay, win bonus and an extra $60k.

Gary Cooke pretty much confirmed that the new TV deal will be with BT sport btw.
