I saw this film in 1975 while in the Butler "A" Center a halfway house for recovering addicts in Butler, PA. At the time I was very early in my recovery from 22 years of Alcohol Addiction and totally non-religious.
The film content on the life and death of Christ and the way it was presented became part of a transformation of my life that to this day, almost 31 1/2 years later, continues as a sober recovering Alcoholic and an Ordained Minister. Never discount the power of truth, even when that truth is presented in what some (at that time) thought was a blasphemous way. Truth is truth and has its own power.
