It is one of the biggest reasons why many Brexiters, especially the older ones voted to leave. in many ways it wasn't a vote to leave the EU it was a vote to reset the clock and escape modern Britain.

Not at all. I've always said I didn't vote remain for myself, I did so for the younger generation. Brexit is unlikely to impact me one way or the other.
However, I'm pretty unimpressed with modern Britain and much preferred society of the sixties and seventies.
