This documentary has done nothing to convince me that Scott Peterson is innocent. One of the reviewers here said it was at best circumstantial evidence. Sorry buddy but you can't make circumstantial evidence something out to be less. This type of evidence is very powerful and is sometimes better than physical evidence. The whole documentary is just meant to shine a bad light on the media and the public for declaring his guilt before he had a trial and to push that there was no real evidence. I'm sorry but circumstantial evidence is real evidence. This case probably had the best circumstantial evidence you can get in a trial. I was watching this and followed the entire case. He was a compulsive liar, cheated on this wife and even told his mistress at the time that his wife was dead a few weeks before she was even dead! Then Laci shows up in the same water where Scott was fishing! There was talk about him possibly being "framed". Give me a break. If he was in the mafia maybe but who the hell is going to frame some random fisherman with the murder of his pregnant wife? Nothing to be gained out of it. No robbery, nothing. They would have had to plan it for weeks, finding out where Scott fishes and any other details in regards to their schedule. All for what? Nothing. She was found dead in the water. The only one who stood to gain anything was Scott. He is guilty and the reason why there was so much media attention was because the circumstantial evidence was so overwhelming and was legit evidence. All the other stuff about capsizing the boat and random witnesses who claimed to have seen Laci later in the day is just a bunch of nonsense. If you are smart enough you can rig something up to dump a body without the boat being capsized. The first most credible witness who was a neighbor claimed to have seen the dog running without a leash at 10:18am. Everything after that was either people wanting media attention or they saw someone who resembled Laci. Even the witnesses who were interviewed sounded vague about their description and just that they believed or thought it was Laci. This documentary is ridiculous.
