Just noticed the link in the first post is not for Morley Hayes, to confirm, is DE7 6DG where we're headed?

Have amended that.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
DE7 6DG is correct. Not 100% sure that'll take you to the door but it should get you close enough to the signs for the course.

Cheers for the game fellas, shame more folk couldn't make it. Maybe next time.
Well done CSS doctor, superb front nine making it tough to catch back nine. Apologies to Dom for sinking that final putt, second thoughts, scratch that, I needed something from the day data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Good days Golf that somehow managed to dodge the rain data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Thanks from me too, was a good day and the golf wasn't bad either
Once again, playing with Toasty and I threw in a couple of birdies and a front 9 of3...he has threatened not to play in the same group as me again to give himself a chance hehe
Edit - can't remember what time we left the club but I didn't get home until 8.15!

Traffic up the M1 was still bad at 8pm so not sure if something had happened earlier in the day.

First time I've played twice in the space of a week for a number of years.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Played up at Shirland Golf Course (Derbyshire).Very nice Parkland course but the most dangerous course I've ever played. Many of the holes run parallel andthe amount of times you end up ducking behind your bag when someone shouts Four, is, well, a lot.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Nontheless.Quite happy with a Gross 85 (Par 71) considering i had a 6 (4 putt double bogey at the lastdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7) a 7 and an 8 (7 shots up the wall there) on the card.
Was aching for 2 days after Morley Hayes but only a few hours after Saturdays round.
Anyway.....is it worth setting up a new thread for the next golf daydata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Hiya, AVF Golf has had some great days in the past, but the last few outings has seen a decline in attendees to the point there was only 3 of us on this one. While it was still a good day, it was more a knock between friends than an AVF day.
If interest arises again, I'd be up for attending, its best to avoid summer, so we used to aim for Spring and October days. The main issue is selecting a club and day the majority can attend easily.

I went to the 2nd one IIRC was about 10 of us, there are some really really good players - then there was me lol
I still giggle to this day when I remember my tee shot off the first.
