The Peak District does that to you. I would guess of all the times I’ve ventured out I’ve had decent/good weather about 5% of the time.

I've a friend who went to the Lake District a few years ago and complained that it rained a lot while he was there.. My question, "How did you think those lakes actually got there?" went straight over his head data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Back on-topic - I thought the best 2 "won" this week. I really like the work the young Italian(?) girl has produced so far - she has a great eye (can't remember her name, nor can I find a link to the usual list of 'togs). Also, I thought the one that went was definitely the weakest.

Is it Federica or something like that?

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 2-12-2019 06:55:10

I quite like Flint as well, I think he has potential when he gets into it. Bit of a shame of the scouse girl as I think she really messed up but had potential.

Yep right one left this week, I really don’t know what she was thinking with her effort, as @Bl4ckGryph0n says a real shame as I liked her previous episodes pics.

Agreed with the judges too this week with their top 2 photos, both were very good I thought.

I agree - and she has a very definite understanding of her own style and what she's trying to achieve.

I felt a little bit sorry for her. Her original pick was the better of the idea she had. But the “expert” suggested the other one, but kept silent at the critique stage.

And yes, as far as landscapes go I thought the top two were the strongest.

Ah - yes - I'd forgotten, but did spot that at the time and remarked to Mrs BTB... Poor on his part, but good on-her for not playing that particular card...

To
To be fair she went with the advice of the "visiting" Tog didn't she and he didn't even utter a word in her defence when they were mauling her....?

roll1later Publish time 2-12-2019 06:55:15

Who knows for sure what gets chucked on the editing floor, he may well of done and we just didn’t get to see it, but from memory all her possible shots were along the same theme and I don’t think any of them would have, should have, seen her through. Unfortunately.

Tough challenge this week I thought but again gotta agree with the ‘judges’ as to who went and who took the best one.
