Damn that's annoying, wonder how I stand because I returned my S4 but I claimed for the cashback on it. Wonder if it's worth a message because if I go outside the claim window it will be frustrating if they cancel my cashback claim on it.

A new device has been benchmarked from Samsung with a Snapdragon 855, could be the Tab S5, hopefully it's crazy money so I don't have buyers remorse data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I don't game. Media plays wonderfully. Never seen lag. More power would be wasted on me.

I think. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Pfft. Who needs a upgrade...??

Now that the S4 has been updated to 9.0, i think the S4 will stand up against a possible S5 with855 chip. The S4 is snappy enough with its 4GB RAM. We know the screen is excellent.

It would have to be a huge leap - maybe more bells and whistle with the s Pen? (We'll see what the Note 10 brings). What about a larger display? A eye watering 12 inches... 1TB internal memory.

I wonder if the wife would spot the difference with a S4 and new S5 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

For those who have tried the S5e and S4, are the speakers and screen equally as good on both?

HaRd2BeAr Publish time 2-12-2019 05:40:03

Think they say the S5e is slightly brighter but I can't say I feel the S4 is lacking. I feel like they are both equally good.

I've also had a duff screen and a good screen on both I've tried.

I use the S Pen almost exclusively with my Tab. I swapped out the standard black tip for one of the supplied white ones just to try. It's much smoother and has less drag. I'll stay with that

As they supply spare tips with the S Pen - how do you know when to replace them? Its plastic, so they don't seem to suffer with wear/ tear. Do people change them alot?

hyperfish Publish time 2-12-2019 05:40:04

I don't know. I've had the same one with my Note for almost a year. I will swap it out to see if there is a difference that has crept up on me.

Changed the tip on my Note 9 S Pen like for like, no noticeable difference. Settled on using a tip from my Tab which are interchangeable. This provides a different feel, much less drag, which I prefer.
