Just trying to setup iris scan on my S4 and it refuses to register my eyes. On my S8 it's pretty instantaneous. Anyone else use iris scan or had issues setting it up?
Not a deal breaker at all but just fancied trying it instead of face unlock.

Had a play with the S4 in Curry's on Monday, that did it. £509 in the shop. Ordered from Samsung on Amazon, should be here tomorrow. £426 then claim £50 cashback. Seems a steal.
Bit of a bummer not having MS Office Suite but apparently the imminent update will make Google Docs and Sheets directly compatible.
Just set it up, no problems for me, although opening with the tablet in landscape seems less successful than portrait. 'Intelligent scan' seems very responsive in landscape.

Do you use or watch Netflix on your S4? Noticed on mine some banding which is annoying me, it's mainly on solid grey/dark colours. May try for another...my first S5e screen wise was perfect, second was bad, this is somewhere in between with regards uniformity.

Thanks, it's mainly on solid colours like the Netflix menu, using night mode in the menus shows it as well, YouTube dark modd. I first spotted it trying to cast Netflix to my bedroom TV in the dark, now I can't unsee it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I know I'm being picky but my girlfriend's S4 doesn't have any on hers so I know I can get a better one...
Otherwise its faultless in my opinion!
Annoying as my first S5e was spot on screen wise.
Arrived a day early. European charger in the box and a UK one separate, so a Euro model. Updated straight away to 9/one. Iris scanner took several attempts to register due to reflections on my specs but unlocks flawlessly. Spigen case is decent too.

Most of the Office Apps are there if you use Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Indeed the apps are there, but a paid subscription is needed to edit documents. Apparently the subscription is only free for devices up to 10.1".
