I won't regret not backing even if it all goes well. I've considered the risk and decided its not for me. I'm usually quite risk averse.

hindsite is a wonderful thing.... i regretted dearly not KSing the DK1.......... i hovered and hovered but did not bite.... shame, they sold at £100 more than the KS price 2nd hand just before the DK2 came out, AND oculus sent out all KS backers a free special "limited Edition" CV1 as a thankyou.

i hovered over backing the 8Kx myself.. but decided it was a bit to rich without more info, considering i already have a hmd i am happy with for now.... but, there is a chance i will be feeling the same regret again in 6 months time. (I hope so because it means pimax will have succeeded)

You shouldn't regret not making a gamble. You considered all information available and made a decision that was right for you at the time. You're not considering all the occasions you could have gambled on Kickstarter only to never see a delivery.

I hope Pimax succeeds and I will be unbearably envious of those who have a Pimax while I'm waiting for the retail release. I won't regret my decision not to gamble though.

Ooh even you’re on the hype train now Mike!

Not the best shot video but at least it shows DP and the IPD wheel.

For the love of god Pimax have over 2 Million in backing, can they not pay someone to make some better quality promos data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Oh, it needs replacing. Even my not-the-most technically-minded brother's first words on using the Vive were: "why does it look like an old TV viewed up close?" After using his glasses, he was even more horrified.

I might be able to overlook SDE since I know the display limitations, but that doesn't sell VR to the masses.

No one wants to spend money if it’s not needed. I refuse to buy the latest Apple phones because they like you say make incremental changes and charge a fortune for it. I feel The a Pimax 8k is the reverse. I actually feel guilty for paying so little and getting so much. If some one said your next HMD will be 200FOV and twice the resolution I would have laughed but here we are two months away from living the VR dream. Or is it a dream never to be reality? Will it live up to the hype? Will the party bus crash and burn? I don’t know but it feels good to be on the bus and I haven’t paid a penny yet. Party on!
