That you download games to or something? I'm trying to figure out how I'd play this Vader VR experience

It has 64gb storage onboard.
Think of it like a very souped up gear vr only it is not a phone inside but just the compute.parts of the phone

I didn't see any quest announcements at CES. Did anyone else? Strange, as I would've expected something.

Facebook don’t do CES. They have F8 and Oculus Connect instead.

Now that I sold my Royole Moon the cash is waiting for a day one purchase of this little beauty.
OLED screen and 1600x1440 pixels per eye resolution will be amazing for 3D movie watching in Skybox VR & Big Screen.

Yep - even now with GDC - they've announced Beat Saber as a launch title for Spring 2019 but no date !

If this pans out it could be very interesting indeed. If it works well may make rift s redundant. I know if it works well all of a sudden I am interested in a quest

Presumably it couldn’t actually be tethered as there’s no HDMI port - or would it be possible to use the USB-c connector?

I imagine it will be possible fairly early on to stream from a pc using something like ALVR, like you can do at the moment with the GO.

I’m well hyped for the Quest and will be getting it day one, no question
