Well as I said I was a bit (LOL) confused by units. It appears my broadband speed tonight is 16Mbps. So somewhere between Sky HQ and my box the speed achieved is slower than that. And yes I did expect a serious answer whilst acknowledging that no one could actually say if my home plugs were up to speed.

Maybe if you went back through your posts and put in sensible units, clearly stated what you wanted answers to, we could serve you better.

Hi
I got a pair of TP Link 500mbps. Can I add a third as I want to install a Youview box in the bedroom?
Thanks

I use 4 x TP-Link. Ensure the added ones are the same (not essential but preferential). Good choice.

Cheers.
Did I read somewhere that adding another slows down the speed or am I talking rubbish?

Hi, i was wondering if I could get some help.
My dad has some Maxx Digital homeplugs 200mbp and they suddenly didn't work. I have pair them up again in the same room next to the router and on the laptop it says - Unidentified network. So i tried this same process at my house and the same issue with the network?
To clarify
My internet works fine when I connect directly into the router.
Ethernet into router and homeplug A. Ethernet into laptop and homeplug B.
Both homeplug LED lights are on.
Any ideas? Much appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know the Maxx homeplugs but most plugs have a small button on each, you press the button on the router homeplug A first and the little light blinks and you then pair it up by pressing the same button on the laptop homeplug B. If that doesn't work try unplugging both and then plug in plug a first and then plug B and repeat the button sequence.
