Are they actually working on that?

Apparently so it is in beta testing with a select few in June so should be about soon you would think.
Amazon Alexa will soon blend with Logitech Harmony

There is only one thing stopping me buying echo now and it's the music in multiroom. It's where I can play a song in say my living room and say alexa play this in all rooms. Does anyone know if this is going to be possible in the future?
It sounds petty but it's something I would you all the time.

Ordered mine too with £49 off. Looking forward to getting it next week.

It's what I'm waiting for, full control of Harmony and Hue. Can't imagine I'd ever use it as a speaker for music. I've got my speakers for that.

I've ordered the Dot with Netamo thermostat. I take it you can turn the heating on and change the temp using Alexa?

I have Hue lights so I can also control them.

Annoyingly I missed the deadline for the money off offer by a few minutes. Have ordered the Dot instead. Looking to control my WeMo devices, Nest thermostat and my AV equipment in the TV room.

Disappointed at having to wait an extra month but if it works well I may ad a couple more.

Anyone know when the app will be released?I also see rumours about push notifications. This would be great.

Also still no update on the Harmony integration.

Was hoping to find a lot of chat about this here. I want to start purchasing some kit to remote control lights and sockets using Alexa and was wondering what the best value for money was?

qwales Publish time 1-12-2019 21:07:22

BTW there is a deal on the dot, Amazon are offering 6 for the price of 5.

Can anyone recommend the best kit to buy to start controlling your lights and sockets with Alexa
