Agree on weight.Based on my experience with an 800; despite being a plastic, or polycarbonate, the build feels very robust and well executed unlike some other, flimsier, plastic handsets out there.I really like the design and feel of the 800, which is carried forward to the 920.It's up there with iP4 for me but if your dead set against plastics I guess you will not appreciate it.I do prefer a matte finish to the gloss on the 920 though.

As for lack of interest, lets turn that negative into a positive. The 920 will be an expensive phone that few people will own initially which gives a little exclusivity.Every Tom, Dick and Harry has an iPhone or Galaxy by contrast.

After chatting to a helpful bloke in the orange call center I have decided January or February to pay off my contract with 6 months remaining. by which point will be £250 so Will be doing a early upgrade to the 920 as will work out cheaper than buying the handset outright. The phone looks really good and while I have enjoyed my Xperia arc Im looking forward to the new os as android can be quite hit and miss at times

I like the light feel of the iPhone 5 but it isn't a necessity. I'd rather keep some size and weight if it meant more powerful components.

I can bicep curl roughly 20kg, 180g will be alright.

The pricing from other European countries indicate it'll cost £475 here in the UK.

I want to go for this as my next phone but I'm not sure if it will be available on 3, maybe by the time I upgrade in February it might be.

any idea on a sim free unlocked handset price?

Naaktgeboren Publish time 27-11-2019 22:27:49

I would expect that to be announced over the next couple of days, no idea why they are still dragging their feet!

Bigmonty69 Publish time 27-11-2019 22:27:49

The way I read the announcement was that there was no sim free price as it was exclusive to EE?

Not seen anything for reliable sim free prices yet, but did see a quote saying that Orange and TMobile would also have stock, so hopefully better pricing than the silly EE 4G contracts.
