I've done it.
No issues so far but very little differences in all honesty to the os.

I think I'm going to hold off until the official release, but from what I've seen, there don't seem to be many cosmetic changes...

Right, Android 10 is dripping out for the OP7 and 7Pro, I haven't had it yet, and I'm nervous of using the Oxygen Updater app, anyone got it on here?

Not had the official version, but it's showing in Oxygen Updater. Just deciding whether to go for it.

Sometimes you can trigger the official OnePlus OTA update by using a free VPN set to Canada, then once it's showing as ready to download you can disconnect the VPN to download it at your normal ISP speed.

I used the Oxygen updater app last night and it worked fine. I now have Android 10 on my OnePlus.7 Pro. Its really easy to use and you don't lose any data on the phone during the update.... or at least I didn't.

Just got 10.0.1 through via OTA and, well, it's much the same, although dark mode is spread across apps as well, by the looks of it.

I recently purchased a oneplus 7 pro
I recently purchased a oneplus 7 pro. Prior to the purchase, I read on their website that I could trade in my oneplus 6 phone. All I had to do was send the package that they sent me. Just before I sent the phone to oneplus, I went to their web site and "chatted" with customer service. I asked if I should wait for the voucher/cashback offer for the trade-in before purchasing. This person told me it doesn't matter since I could ask for cashback once they have inspected my trade-in phone.
I purchased the oneplus 7 pro and got it in about a week. Meanwhile, I sent my trade-in phone to them and they got it about a day or 2 after I made my purchase. I received an email that a token/voucher was on its way. I replied to their email within minutes of receiving it asking what good is the voucher if I can't use it since I already purchased the oneplus 7 pro. I asked why can't they rescind the voucher and send me cashback or send back the voucher, when I receive it, and request cashback! I added if I cant get cashback, then I want them to return my trade-in. They replied with
"We totally understand your concern, as we are sorry to inform you that we will not be able to change the voucher (TOKEN) to cashback.
However, as you requested for trade-in cancellation we would like to inform you, if you haven't yet shipped your device, you can cancel your trade-in by simply keeping your device. If you've already shipped your device, the trade-in can't be canceled."
On the oneplus website, it says,
"Receive your Token: When you accept the updated offer, a Token will be sent to you. If you decline the updated offer, we'll send your old device back to you"
So, now I am out of pocket of the unusable voucher, and I can't get my phone back! Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase another oneplus device ever again!
