What kind of complaints? All the comparisons I've seen make it look pretty good.

There was a huge thread about grain, softness, focus issues etc. It might have been resolved by now though, as there was mention of a patch for the camera app.

OnePlus' own camera app has always been a weak point on their phones, which is a shame, because the camera hardware is more than good enough.Hopefully they'll crack it, or the modders figure out a Google Camera port for the OP7.

Coming from a 5T to a 7P I'm finding the new phone feels rather heavy, anyone agree?

MarkyPancake Publish time 27-11-2019 22:20:59

Looks like it's over 40g heavier, so enough to notice I'd say.

I'm very tempted to go for the 8gb/256Gb version, but is it worth the extra £150 over the plain 7? Internals are the same, aren't they, in terms of SoC, memory, etc?

Plain OP7 ain't out yet - you won't get -

90hz screen
Screen Resolution (Full HDversus Quad HD )
Storage speed
triple Camera
pop up selfie camera

I've gone from a OP5 to OP7 pro and love it - screen is a thing of beauty. Camera is more than adequate for me, family/dog/gym pictures etc - more than fine. GCAM is already able to be downloaded as an APK if you want but for me - people need to stop pixel peeping etc.

As for the price - £700.....It's still nowhere near top end iphone prices, S10 . People are trying to compare to S10but that's nearly £800, with 128gb storage, no quad hd screen etc.

Also WARP charge is amazing - i thought dash charge was quick - Warp is another level of speed of charging.

It's heavier for sure than op5 but nothing that would cause any great issues at all.

Been getting it setup and playing all afternoon.

The pop up camera is a while of art, if you turn on face unlock it's up and down before you even notice.

Screen is excellent.

The only thing I don't like is th clear protective case it comes with simply because it's clear and I want something darker.

I may replace my Oneplus 1 with the 7 pro.
That's right still have my OP1.
