Can anyone do me a favour and trade a couple of my pokemon back and forth to get them in evolve?
Saw this on the eShop. I have literally no idea what this is for, or why I need it. Have looked at the website, but I didn't get it at all. Since the pokemon only exist as a few bytes on the memory card, I don't understand why I need online storage for them. Its not like they are gigabytes of info?
I grabbed it as it's beneficial to me. I have dream radar from the eshop and pokemon black 2.
You can transfer any of the pokemon in black and white 1 and 2 into the bank and then into x/y, including the ones from the dream radar.
It'd find it pointless too if I didn't have any of the previous games, but it's nice to be able to get a few exclusive legendarys with a different skin and some of the pokemon that I trained up transferred over to x/y.
Obviously if you have x and y you can use it to transfer the exclusive pokemon from one to the other too. All depends on the person and how many pokemon games they have played I guess.

I think it's Nintendo's way of making it easier to transfer Pokemon between future versions. Too bad it's still a really slow, monotonous process. But at least you don't have to keep replaying a mini-game to transfer 6 at a time like past games.
I like the look of the legendary Pokémon on the cover of Y, but like the look of the "mega" evolved Mewtwo on X. Not sure which to get.
Also I haven't played Black, White, Black 2 or White 2 so am I missing much? Or is it ok to just skip to X/Y? The last Pokémon game I played what Diamond and Pearl.
Which is better, X or Y?

Pokemon Black/White 2 are worth playing if you get the chance. They were my favourites since Red/Blue.

In other, non April Foolsy news, Nintendo are givnig away a Magmar and Electabuzz to owners of X & Y.
Always nice to get a free Pokemon, but it's sometimes a pain having to go to a Game store to get the code you need to redeem for it.
Codes are available from tomorrow and need to be redeemed by September 30th, hopefully they'll have some codes in my local when I go in next week.
Aren't they giving them out as a trading card, not the actual Pokémon for in the game?
