Pokemon X/Y
I'm looking to get this for my 6 year old for his 3DS - but from having never played a Pokemon game in my life.. I'm confused as to the difference between these 2 games? Am i right in thinking they are the same gameplay but each one has different Pokemon to catch? If so that's a proper rip off! Some kids will want both I'm sure.. money grabbing machine at it again. Yep that's basically it. Each version has a few exclusive Pokemon. It has been this was since the original red/blue in the game boy. Not really money grabbing, since you won't normally buy both.It encourages Pokemon swapping with other players.I've ordered X and Y for my wife and myself.I haven't played for well over 10 years (Silver was the last one I played).Hopefully it'll still grab me. I've not really seen itas money grabbing before. Me and my sister both love Pokemon and we always get the different pairs as they're released. Not sure if we're getting X and Y yet though. We find it a great way of getting more gameplay out of them as we hunt the more elusive Pokemon.
If you've got one of the pair there's no benefit to getting the other as the stories are the same and you need two consoles to swap Pokemon. Ah OK, wasn't clued up on how these work. Will explain this to my boy data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Im not into Pokemon at all, but wondered what one people would decide to get if they are the same? How does one pick? My copies from Amazon failed to turn up today. So much for "1st class delivery to receive it on launch day". Well me and my sister usually settle it with a game of 'rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock'! I take back my previous comment. They've just arrived. The post isn't normally so late. Not a Big Bang Theory nerd at all data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
