Charisma wins votes.

Seemingly, things like IQ take a back seat for a chunk of the eloctorate.

Oh no... What have we done?

I voted on policies, and so did all the people I know

I thought he was on about UKIP voters

... although they're less of a chunk, more of a tiny spurt, of the electorate

In my experience most people are ignorant of actual policies and don't use any critical thinking when assessing them.

Not exclusive to labour voters of course.

Just back to should May go or not, I thought this was interesting. (Taken from Facebook).

1979 -Callaghan 269 seats, he admitted defeat & resigned.
1992 - Kinnock 271 seats, he admitted defeat & resigned.
2017 - Corbyn 262 seats, claims victory and orders the winner to resign.

Why isn't there a should Corbyn go thread?

rancidpunk Publish time 26-11-2019 03:08:02

I realise your comment is tongue in cheek, but presumably both Callaghan and Kinnock had lost seats?

The Dude Publish time 26-11-2019 03:08:03

Yep, can't think why.

He's definitely a socialist too , there's no need to asterisk that one. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
