Are you sure about the vote thing? I can't find a link at the moment, but I'm sure I read something that put that in doubt.

I'm not cheering anything, always been quite the contrary, and I didn't win because I wasn't up for election.

The Conservatives and DUP have voted against lifting the pay cap currently imposed upon nurses, firemen and other emergency services. Seems the magic money tree isn't here to support those members of our community. I suspect it must be needed for further DUP bungs.

Regrettably I think it's more likely they voted against it simply because Corbyn tabled it. Mainly as a test case for whether their majority can work. But I don't think you were being entirely serious, or were you? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Giving in to Corbyn would be a bad move for the new partnership to make.So soon after coming together.
Not to mention the screams of u-turn ringing out again.

More a case of Labour just virtue-signalling, and playing to their public sector core vote.

TBH if it was just a test case by both sides they both should be ashamed using our emergency services as such. More so with the events of the last few weeks.
Like fudging kids.

Dont worry - I'm sure you will get your money tree back soon - May has only borrowed it off Corbyn after all.
