I support leaving the protectionist EU, so any attempt to remain in the CU is unacceptable. They don't represent free anything. Membership of the EU is making a pact with the devil running its own protectionist club: huge fees to belong to a dictatorship.
What is so frustrating about Brexit is that had the EU made a simple concession to Cameron, none of this would be happening. I blame the EU for all this chaos. The EU want power; to act like dictators. Without a major shift in policies the EU is doomed.

Do you have a point to make?

The only point I have is the whole thing is crazy, it's putting a lot of jobs at risk it'll probably bring down this government as they rely on the DUP to stay in power and the person running the show wanted to remain anyway and nobody knows what's going to happen. It's like a good film with an unpredictable ending, I'm awaiting the review.

There's no gain
There is no gain without pain..... Of course we could have stayed in the UK and the train would continue running, and suddenly we find ourselves totally ruled. from Brussels, with no permission to leave. That is where the train is heading make no mistake.
But people were brave enough to vote leave even though they were told it was the wrong choice. The fact that the government is making a pigs ear out of it, is not the fault of the voters.
I would like to say we did it just in time, but the establishment is pushing back on this democratic decision, and they may get their way even at this late stage.

@Cliff I enjoyed that film (Pain & Gain) but unfortunately from next year onwards I'll probably have to pay more for 4K Blu Rays imported from European countries and that's a pain.
I also voted remain as the majority of young people didn't want to leave and as the country will be handed to them I thought that it would be churlish to make a decision that will affect their whole lives as mine is reaching its end (not to soon I hope) plus I always thought and still do that the EU was a good thing.

A very 'matter of fact analysis of the situation regarding the Irish border.
Perhaps you would like to pop over to N.I. and explain it to members of Saoradh?
New dissidents hoping to exploit Brexit
I'm sure they will see the error of their ways once its been explained to them that they're being 'too emotional'.

The EU has already said for as long as we stay in the Customs Union we will have to pay for that, billions every year, and we will not have our rebate back ether. So May has managed to negotiate us paying more for less. But then it’s all her master plan anyway.

How are they going to inherit the country if it is in the hands of Brussels...
