Wonder if Putin and Assad will use this element of surprise of much talked about punitive missile strike to their advantage?

Gaddafi could see what was happening. Our involvement in Syria will only make things even worse in the country.

Just imagine what May could achieve if she put as much effort as she doe into launching missiles compared to flaccid nursing care policies to safeguard her core vote.Pondering whether this is good or bad for my politics, my moral dilema of the day.

Usual typical Russian speech and language used, the portrayal they are the victims in all this, usually because they don’t want anyone else to know they’ve failed or are lying, we will know soon enough though as an actual independent group of experts has gone there and will start investigating on Saturday.........
Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said Russian experts had examined the site of the alleged attack in Douma, east of Damascus, and found no trace of chemical weapons.
He said Moscow had "irrefutable information that it was another fabrication".
He added that "intelligence agencies of a state that is now striving to spearhead a Russo-phobic campaign were involved in that fabrication".
He did not name the state.

So now the Russians are going on record claiming that the U.K. ‘staged the chemical attack’ data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Well know soon enough, first team of indelemadent chemical weapons experts are on site with the second team due there later today or tomorrow. And Russia seems to be getting more and more desperate in its language.
A spokesman for Russia's defence ministry accused the UK of staging a chemical attack.
"We have... evidence that proves Britain was directly involved in organising this provocation," Igor Konashenkov said.
Russia says 'chemical attack' was staged

Hang on weren't IS the biggest threat in Syria a while ago ?,and to the whole world,oh yes but the poor old Kurds did most of the fighting & dying to try to get rid of that threat, but haven't Turkish forces invaded parts of Syria,to take on the Kurds now ?.
And now the summer weather coming, there will be more Syrians trying to cross the Med for sanctuary in the West,as war seem on further escalation, but nobody want more refugee, everybody said.
Imo what the Russian the US,UK,France, and the UN should be doing,is to give up on a united Syria, and maybe the only hope for peace is to split Syria up into tribal regions, that suit the Syrians people as a whole, and maybe a chance for for that war to end.

So, it starts:
US and allies launch strikes on Syria
The alleged chemical attack in Douma has led to US strikes on a Syrian chemical weapons site.
Apparently the British are 'involved' in the US military strikes.
