The problem with wee Jimmy Krankie is that she is a one policy person..Independence at any cost.I had a conversation with one of her cronies in Glasgow around indyref time asking about Trident.

SNP "we want rid of the trident submarine, we don't need it here"
SNP goons...cheering
Me "firstly, trident is a missile not a submarine, the submarines are Vanguard class SSBN"
SNP "hmmmm"
Me "so assuming you do get your independence vote and you get rid of the trident missiles, subs etc, what are you planning or have planned to do to make sure the local economies dont crash with the massive reduction in people, infrastructure, spending and such?
SNP "uhm................., well............. "
Me so you've not thought about it?
SNP "uhm....well yes we have, of course"
Me so whats the solution, what have you planned to do?
SNP "uhm......."

Asked the same question to another SNP after they lost and started prattling on about indyref2...pretty much the same response!

She has been running Scotland for half a decade!

Westminster is made up of all of the Union, with a disproportionate amount of Scottish MPs per population.

DarkEntity Publish time 26-11-2019 00:22:33

And there was probably a good reason for that when it was setup.

JayCee Publish time 26-11-2019 00:22:33

And all she prattles on about its Indyref this and Indyref that.Sooner she is gone the better Scotland will be

DarkEntity Publish time 26-11-2019 00:22:34

No she doesn't.
As I've said before it's more often brought up by the opposition parties leaders and she has to respond.
Who would you have replace her?

Seems populism is strong in the reforendum space with leaders having a strong voice even though they have not set a foot in the HoC . Strange we can pick a side and defend it whilst dismissing the other.

I imagine her agenda is

Firstly - keep the UK in the EU
And then - gain independence from the UK

Because she will want to argue that Scotland is in the EU already, so doesn't have to join.

If Scotland has to join the EU, I suspect the terms and conditions won't be very favourable.

Cheers,

Nigel

I agree that she wants Scotland out of the UK. I used to think that us staying in the EU would be enough to halt another ref, but now I believe she would still want a referendum afterward anyway. Likely using the argument that Scotland needs to be free and away from another Brexit style disaster at Westminster.

Sometimes some of the Scottish lads on here pop in this section, and they normally give a good account of what the feeling is up there.

It's not about independence for Scotland, you can't be independent and then go rushing to Europe and bending over.
It's about not being governed by the Tories. Note that for the SNP the word Tory can also be substituted with "Thatcher" and "Scum" as far as they are concerned.

Just look at Sturgeon as she spits the word "Tories" out anytime.
