The SNP work in partnership with the Scottish Greens, who also support independence.
If you add up the percentages, the majority of voters went for independence supporting parties.

Would you care to explain your rationale for that statement?

That's the same dodgy maths as for the EU election.
People who voted Green over the SNP probably did so over green issues it doesn't mean they want Independence.
Opinion polling on Scottish independence - Wikipedia
Since March 2017, opinion polls have consistently indicated a preference against Scottish independence.
A shame. With Scotland gone leaving the EU should be easier.

I would think that the difficult experience we have had trying to break away from the EU might be lesson. Scotland is much more integrated into the UK than the UK was into the EU. IfScotland did vote to break away then the problems of leaving would be many times worse- same currency, common border, etc etc.
I'd recommend a second vote, say after 3 years when it became all too difficult (just in case the Scots have a change of mind).

Her own party said this was a once in a generation vote last time out, yet all they have done since is plan another one.//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif
.
Unless they are advocating bringing the voting age down to six they have got their arithmetic very wrong or maybe they are just sore losers. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
You can just imagine Nicola's reaction to another vote next year if they had won in 2014. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
As a proud Scot I hope Westminster tell her where to stick her referendum for many years to come.

Disingenuous, hibby - the once in a generation was always stated with the caveat of an EU referendum to leave result, as came about. But then maybe you only hear what you want to hear?

I don't recall any caveats like that when they made that claim, here is the interview.
'Once in a generation opportunity'
The climb down on that was after the Brexit vote gave them an excuse?

That's a weird sense of pride you have allowing one part of a union dictate to another.
