Hence my point that the Conservative Party are already doing that themselves with their in fighting.

I’m just not seeing the Brexit Party as any more of a token protest than those scrawling Brexit on their local election papers.I’m not saying they’re not gaining support, just wondering what they’re actually going to do when they get votes.I’d have thought the last 3 years would have taught people to not simply vote a hollow promise without any full plan afterwards.

The Brexit Party was founded on 20 January 2019.

Whether it is a protest or full support, it saying, loud and clear that the main parties have messed up and they will not get our support.

And the last three years will have taught the parties that if they don't do what they were elected to do, they will lose our votes.

What other option do I have? I have to vote for the party that represents me on the issue that is most important to me.

If the Tories want my vote again, they know what they need to do.

Having voted for them in the local elections last week, as there was no ‘Brexit’ Party option, do you think you’d also vote for them in the next GE, even if they haven’t delivered on leaving the EU (assuming there is no major Brexit Party option again)?

Once again the Conservatives and indeed Labour this time out have created a soap box for Nigel to run on . And Nige didn't have to even try as laid out on a platter for him data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7.

The thing is, that they are a currently a EU party, not a UK political party.
They will have no influence over the UK's Brexit process or the Governments handling of it.
All they can and will do is waste time in the EU parliament further damaging relations with the rest if the EU countries we want to keep as friends and trading partners even if we left.
If we don't leave or it's delayed for a long enough period of time, we will be obligated to follow the rules, directives and so forth of a group of nations and a system we are essentially taking the pee out of by having anti-eu MEP's causing problems.
That will most likely mean that any negotiations on issues that effect the UK are going to be considerably less likely to be seen in a benevolent and friendly manner by the rest of the EU.

Essentially, a vote for the Brexit party is a vote for acting like little kids having a hissy fit in the supermarket - embaress the parents and get everyones backs up while not only not getting the sweets we wanted, but also having our favourite breakfast cereals put back on the shelves and replaced with ALL Bran.
It's basically cutting off ones nose to spite ones face.

I can only assume people are hoping that at the next General Election they will stand and do well.

But let's assume that the next general election is as scheduled in 2022.

That means this Brexit Party can actually do nothing about Brexit till 2022. And even then it doesn't mean they're going to be able to do anything. And either way, Brexit is likely to have happened or been scrapped by 2022.

So with no other current policies or ideas, it's basically a protest vote for a raving loony party.

Led by Nigel Farage.

they're also standing at the upcoming Peterborough by-election after the recent recall
- most likely with Ms Rees-Smugg standing, as Nige bottled it, having lost seven earlier attempts at being elected to the HoC
