I read the first Detective Comics and loved it. I've never been big on the Batman comics but this has got me hooked. It's going to be hard not to order the rest. The last panel was awesome.
Ordered the first HB yesterday and pre-ordered the second from Amazon which was a pretty good price from what I remember.
I'm looking forward to seeing what that was all about.

100% agree I was really worried about Detective,with Tony Daniel on Art & Writing duties I thought this would be really generic and cliched but no I thought it was brilliant//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif The art was great and the story built up very nicely,I loved the way Batman was portrayed and his interactions with certain people were exactly as I wanted them to be he was like a Detective and not some bad tempered ego maniac, hopefully it will continue along this path.
I have also read Action Comics and Justice League and thought they were brilliant as well, again I loved the way they portrayed Batman in Justice League as a real thinker on top of his game measured in his decisions unlike Green Lantern (fools rush in),with Action comics I loved the way Superman has not reached full strength and is also quite naive and inexperienced.
I will be buying some more out of the first lot but do not think I can buy all 52 because i am now buying everything digitaly and reading them on my laptop and there seem to be no discounts at the moment or ever probably.

Yep - they are catching all the people that must have it now (ie most of us) with the £2.49! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 tag, and reducing it - probably to £1.79 after a month.
